When I started Water, inc. in 1978, interest in water
filtration was almost non-existent. Today, national
polls tell us that over 85% of the U.S. population is
concerned about the safety and quality of their drinking
water. Well publicized problems in New York, Milwaukee,
and Los Angeles, plus a recent overall report published
by the Centers for Disease Control have caused concern
over lead, asbestos, Cryptosporidium and other contaminants.
At the same time, our daily lives are more complex
than ever before. We have learned to place a high premium
on anything that makes our lives easier or more organized.

Water, Inc. and our network of dealer drinking water
specialists have grown to be the premier Western US
representatives of quality drinking water systems. If

water testing, an extensive selection of products, an
annual reminder letter for cartridge change-outs, extended

Premier Products Distribution Company (PPD) was founded in 1996 as a division of Water, Inc. and
began independent operation in 1998. The company was
created with a singular focus to pursue import and domestic
opportunities with premium quality products for the
kitchen, bath, and home. PPD is dedicated to providing
superb customer service to our dealers and their customers
on a daily basis. This commitment is backed by our professional
sales managers, a well trained inside sales staff, and
in-depth technical services department, streamlined
order processing, same day shipping, and an extensive
investment in inventory.
In 2000 Water, Inc. and PPD were merged together. That same year Linda and Major Avignon created an Employee Stock Ownership Plan and transferred to the employees a 40% interest in the Company creating an employee owned company.
